Went to a different goodwill and found another kpop demon hunters squishmallow blind box for $7.50 and last time I got derpy and this time I got jinu was hoping for Sussie but I will take a jinu I have been looking for them at target but no luck but I get lucky at goodwill and get it a bit cheaper

"Platinum Edition" of the art book. Color changes, print quality, extra art work, general thoughts, and image comparisons. I filled in the captions on the pics.

TLDR: The hardcover is nice! I don't think you're loosing anything by choosing this over the softcover. Read the captions!! Overall thoughts: * Better reading experience. The binding allows to the pages to open fully with little effort. The book can lay open flat on its own. Full visibility of spreads is nice. * Pages are slightly glossier than the soft cover but not annoying. * Good print quality. Same as soft cover. * The "Holographic Platinum" painted edges are pretty. Iridescent like Rumi's scars. * Slide 6. Extra full page of art. The same art is featured earlier in both books, but it's a nice bonus. * Slide 7. The only revision I've noticed. They added Header text to page 108. This header was not in the digital version either. * Colors are different. Pallet is cooler now. Most noticeable with greys and off whites. IDK if it was intentional or not. This might be a printer calibration thing. You likely wouldn't notice without doing a side by side comparison. * But the Free spread looses detail in the sky's coloring 😭😭😭 * Slide 8 compares the color differences of the same piece of art. I have the softcover, hard cover, digital version of the book, and the image from the artist's instagram. The digital versions are more vibrant/contrast/saturation. The hardcover looks to be closer to digital than the softcover, but both are noticeably less vibrant/saturated than the digital references. * Mine was packaged loose in a box with the world's tiniest piece of packing paper. No dents though, arrived in excellent shape! FAQ answers 1. Is there a dust cover 1. Yes, it has the same front and back designs as the softcover. 2. How do you know both of your copies aren't misprints? 1. I don't. I only own 1 of each. Leave pics of yours in the comments below to compare! My softcover was ordered from GN 5 minutes after orders went live.

[OC] Fallen Rumi — (Minor disturbing content warning)

Digital painting, created by me. I'll preface this post by saying that I've wanted to do an angsty demonized Rumi piece for a while. This idea popped into my head the other day, and honestly I'm quite happy with how it turned out, even if I felt kinda bad turning my girl into a monster. Here's a little fanfic-like lore thing to give the artwork some additional context; — *When Rumi went to Celine after her patterns were revealed in front of Zoey and Mira, and the Honmoon began to fall apart, she hoped for an end to her suffering. But Celine refused, and at first Rumi felt a measure of hope... only for her mentor to cover up her shoulders and plead with her to hide once more. To begin the lie anew.* *That was when Rumi finally heard Gwi-Ma's voice in her ear, just as Jinu had described it. Like an icy whisper, feeding her worst fears and deepest shame. In that moment, Rumi's connection to the dying Honmoon was shattered into a million pieces, destroying her Sain-Geom in her hands.* *In an outburst of rage and panic, Rumi listened to the words in her ear and snatched up the sickle discarded by her mentor. There was no scream, only a regretful gasp, as the last of the Old Guard fell silent. But Celine was not the only Hunter...* *It wouldn't be long, with the full power of her demon blood rapidly overtaking her, before Rumi returned to Seoul in a puff of pink smoke. Her friends... her sisters... her* ***betrayers***... *they never had a chance. It was always going to end this way. She knew that now.* *Finally, with Gwi-Ma's laughter in her mind, she headed off into the darkness to fulfill his next mission. To eliminate the troublesome Jinu and his pathetic boy band that had failed their king.* *HUNTR/X was no more. She was not a Hunter any longer; now she was Gwi-Ma's Slayer.*

Craziest, weekend ever… 🥹

So I went to Tampa, comiccon and I was blessed with a chance of meeting Ken jeong and let me tell you guys he was the coolest dude ever he’s soooo chill n down to earth and he’s actually really funny in person 😭 I got to talk to him for a few minutes We was cracking jokes laughing it up and also his manager was really sweet shout out to her for giving me time to bond with Ken I got to tell him that I really enjoyed his movies growing up like the hangover, dark of the moon, many more and now K-pop Demon hunters truly an experience I will neverrr forget

I bought a gift box from Anua, and the cards are so beautiful! I'm especially glad I got the one with the WISL trio because the rare WISL Rumi McDonald's card is the only one I haven't been able to get. NOW a question! Is K-Pop Vampires basically a K-Pop Demon Hunters fanfic or tribute?

I randomly came across this WEBTOON called *K-Pop Vampires* and at first I honestly thought it was some kind of fan fiction or unofficial tribute to *K-Pop Demon Hunters* lol. The setup is obviously different. It’s about a girl who gets hired to work with a famous K-pop boy group called PERFECT, except the members are secretly vampires from powerful noble families. It seems to lean more into romance, supernatural drama, mystery, and the whole vampire hierarchy thing. But the K-pop + supernatural combination immediately made me think of *K-Pop Demon Hunters*. Has anyone else read it? Do you think it was inspired by KPDH, or is the similarity mostly just the K-pop supernatural concept? I’m only a few episodes in but it’s actually getting pretty interesting.

Question for Rumira, Zoemira, or Zoerumi shippers: what does the “extra” girl do/have in terms of relationships in your/others’ fanworks or headcanons?

I hope that made sense. Basically, when only two of the three girls are shipped together, what does/do you think the other girl has in terms of relationships? I’ve seen a small amount of Rujinu + Zoemira works, but they are quite rare, and I’ve seen zero Rumira + Zoestery or Zoerumi + Miromabby/Mirabby/Miromance content. Basically, I am just curious what happens to that third girl in your or others’ content, or even just headcanons. Note: this is specifically asking people who ship one of the three ships above, NOT Polytrix shippers, who obviously ship all three together.

A Hunter Council of Korea?

It’s likely that the Hunters in Korea aren’t a decentralized group. I reckon that in a future work in this universe, we will see a Hunter Council of Korea of sorts which serves as the supreme administrative authority for all Hunters in Korea. It will mirror Joseon court politics, comprised of eight Elders and a High Elder, and scores of Councillors divided into two or more bickering factions. Though Hunters chosen to actually seal the Honmoon supposedly always operate as a *trio*, it’s possible that there may be scores of other Hunters held “in reserve” as the Council’s foot troops so to speak. Speaking of which, returning to the conventions in Joseon-era period dramas, the Council will likely have *ranks* for their Hunters, distinguished by the colors of their *hanbok* and the materials used in their *binyeo* and *norigae*: **High Elder** She will be the only Hunter allowed to wear gold, which is a color of imperial power in Sino-Korean culture. Aside from leading the sisterhood, her role is to preside over all Council meetings and study sacred Hunter texts. **Council Elder** Eight of these figures clad in white *hanbok* and wearing silver *binyeo* and *norigae*. Celine will absolutely be one of them. **Councillor** About 100-200 total, divided into two bickering factions on the Council. Red or blue *hanbok* with Mandarin squares and wearing jade *binyeo* and *norigae*. **Council Guards** These elite warriors are basically Army MPs for the Council. These women will wear *kunbok* and a *gat* hat with two iridescent feathers on either side, as well as their *binyeo* and *norigae*. They will wield woldo or gokdo halberds. Their Captain will wear a broad brimmed *jeollip* in place of a *gat*. **Master Hunter** Green *hanbok* and bronze *binyeo* and *norigae*. From this rank onward a Hunter also wears a *wonsam*. **Hunter** The rank-and-file Hunters having already sworn the oath. **Apprentice Hunters** Under age 13 they wear a pink *hanbok* with striped sleeves. They do not have a *norigae* yet, which is reserved for sworn Hunters, and are apprenticed to a sworn Hunter as part of their training. They will have a headquarters beneath Wongaksa Temple (now Tapgol Park) since it’s right in the middle of Seoul. The eponymous pagoda there will be the key to entering the massive complex underground by touching one’s *norigae* to it and reciting the Hunter’s Mantra. This underground complex will be 1,500 feet underground and deep enough to survive a nuclear blast, and will link with the complexes beneath the other major Buddhist temples to form a colossal network of bunkers that span the whole of South Korea, having been built with American assistance after the Korean War. A Hunter’s *norigae*, in addition to containing her weapon, will also serve as an ID badge and keycard, and be unique to each individual Hunter (no two *norigae* are ever alike). My headcanon with the Council in Korea is that they will start out good and their High Elder will initially be a Hunter from the 1940s-1950s trio called the Prancers, which was comprised of triplets (a la The Kim Sisters) and fought in the Korean War. She will eventually be usurped in a coup by the Third Sister and a civil war will break out between the Hunters in Korea, and Celine and Huntrix have to fight her. Celine ultimately becomes the new High Elder in the end. So, what do you guys think? Feel free to comment and add feedback!
